When should I install my eSIM?
At home, on Wi-Fi, a day or two before you fly. Your plan's validity starts when it first connects to a network in China, so installing early doesn't use up any days.
Will my phone work?
Most iPhones from the XR/XS on, and many recent Android phones, support eSIM. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked. Check your phone.
Can I keep my US number and WhatsApp?
Yes. The eSIM is data only and sits alongside your main SIM, so your number stays on your phone. WhatsApp keeps your existing account.
